ON CERTAIN SCOOTERS, THE FUEL PUMP RETAINING RING MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED RESULTING IN IMPROPER SEATING OF THE FUEL PUMP RETAINING RING ON THE FUEL TANK DUE TO MISALIGNMENT OF THE THREADS.
