View Full Version : FI warning light

I own a 2011 650 Burgman Excutive with 1300 miles, and two different times the FI warning light came one, when I opened the gas cap there was a pressure build up and the FI warning went out. Is there a vent I need to check? Has anyone else had this problem.

Your question is not clear. Try to reword it.
Is the engine running when you open the gas cap?
Do you have trouble starting the engine?
When does the F1 come on?

Ihad the same thing happen too me with the same yr bike
last summer kept taking it in to service and the light would be out
so after a few months learned 2 things
1 - The f1 light was the fault of a 02 sensor which was replaced
so far so good
2- the older bikes there was one thing to check codes
The 2011 they split them engin / trans so when they kept checking for the codes they would not come up since they were doing it the old way
Hope it helps
You knowI bought this bike to save on gas butI can't stop driving it so Im not really saveing any gas but Im seeing thingsI would of never seen in my carhttp://burgmanriders.com/wp-content/forum-smileys/sf-smile.gif
