good morning all,i have had some repair done to my 650 Burgman,it came back covered in overspray on the paintwork and screen, ive done the paintwork with a clay kit and what a great job its done too,i now need to remove it fom my screen and im not sure what to use because of damageing it.Can anyone advise me on this please
Maybe not the answer you'd be looking for but if the paintwork was done by professionals at cost to you or your insurer and it came back covered in overspray I would ensure that they cleaned it up and accepted the consequences of messing that up too.
In the short term you need to know what sort of paint the overspray is.....and again the people to advise would be those who applied it. They would probably know the safest way to get it off...assuming you don't want them to fix it.

You could do a lot worse than use Autosol which comes in a gold and black "toothpaste" tube and is a very fine abrasive cream. Applied with a flat piece of card from an old cereal packet it will leave absolutely no signs of scratching or dullness on the windscreen.
Of course it would be sensible to try the cream out on an area which is normally out of sight until you're happy that it's safe to use?

I would use only what I would polish the windscreen with. Rather poor job of repair fix one thing and screw up another.
If this item can be shipped to the UK the price is right.
