Good luck keeping that a secret for so long. What kind of of bike is your better half getting? Must be nice having your better half riding with you. I got mine to sit on it so I could take a photo.
And that was it.
The bike will be a Suzuki VL800 Boulevard cruiser if we can get it in blue & white I would prefer this one or a Honda 750 Shadow he does like the Shadow but the Suzuki has more lights on the back and the key is up just under the handlebars at the side the shadow's is down the side of the bike and will leave scratch marks on the side stupid design. We went and measured up for a helmet on Saturday he knows he willl probably get a bike but not quite sure when and how I don't beleive I will be able to keep this secret as it is a big purchase on such a personal item. We are hopeing that the dealership will be able to get a demo bike so he can have a ride on it and see if he likes it or not but he is pritty happy really with which ever. Di

Hi Guys & Gals, I have finally been able to get a short ride on the bike on sunday just around our town and out in the countryside it was a sunny afternoon on a Late Sunday a good ride but a lesson learned to go and get a pair of sunglasses as I returned on my ride I was riding into the sun and it wasn't fun trying to ride with the sun in the face. I am still feeling pain across the top of the shoulders as it has been awhile since I have been on a bike I am hopeing this discomfort will pass the more I am able to get on the bike and get use to how I am seated as I believe it could be me not relaxing and hunching up does anyone else have aches across the back of the shoulders sought of in the area of shoulder blades when they started out riding. I have just bought a pair of Kevlar Jeans off the net from a great retail outlet "Bikers Gear "based in Phillip Island(Aus) and they are very comfortable jeans to wear I am yet to try them out on the bike as I still have to fix my gloves as I pulled the linning out one more finger to go to get them back in and also to purchase some wet weather trousers as I have misplaced mine. I just want to say that I envy all you guys over their in the US who are able to get together with your Burgmans and ride and have bike rallys and weekends away it must be fantastic keep writing the storys they are great to read and I do enjoy reading them it can be very lonely riding by yourself but I am hopeing to fix that I am planning a surprise for my other half in buying a motorcylce for his 45th Birthday in Oct so that will be fun so hopefully I will be able to do it thats if I can keep it a secret for 5 mths. Anyway please keep the stories coming in about your trips away they are great take care everyone out their and ride safe and have fun . Happydi (Australia)
