Cowboy;

I downloaded the free trial of Alive Video Converter, when I converted my first video it had little squares in the image. Is there and adjustement that you know of that will clear the video up or is this just a side effect of the trial version.

It may be the trial verson. Lets check your camera settings first.Laugh

On your v570, turn unit on.  On top there is a buttion for video.  Press that then on the left side of the camera, press menu.  With the little joystick on the right, highlight the video size.  It sould be 640 X 480.  If not, press stright down on the joystick.  It will show you the choices.  Move the joystick up or down till the 640 X 480 is highlighted.  Press stright down on the joystick to make your selection.  After that, press on the shutter buttion and you should be ready to go.  Record something and give it another try.  Let me know what happens.

Hey buddy.

  I had to buy some converting software to change it to WMV format.  The v570 takes video in MOV.( Quicktime)

I use the Alive Video converter

 http://www.alivemedia.net/vide…..verter.htm

When you convert it to WMA, I just use the Windows Movie maker to make the vid.

Saving it to your computer, on the page click other settings.  Look to the drop down menu and highlight

Video for local playback (1.5 Mbps)

Then click next.  After it's saved, you can upload it to wherever.

Hope it helps you.
