I agree with the change. I like the idea of oldest to newest as well…

OK, I made the change so the forum now appears as the home page for the site. I'll tweak some of the side items to show recent other posts on the site.
Thanks for your vote and feedback. I'm always listening, of course except when I'm out riding on a big trip.

Steve,
If you think it would be beneficial to everybody, and not too much trouble to implement , give it a go. You can always switch back, if the ” horde's ” disagree. ……(4.20. pm.)

I will back any changes, I think the site is great. And as others have said change is easy in the future,a tweak here and there no problem.
Thanks Steve for your efforts.

Steve,
You know your website best. If you feel it needs change then do it. We will back youre change. If it makes a problem, it can be changed again.

there seems to be such a run-around to get anywhere on the site ,
it just took me 5 minutes from signin to get to a post page .
I would like to see something easier and much more to the point when answering a post or adding a comment .

Steve you have my vote for the change too – logical move to front up the forum list. Maybe it would be good to list posts in a thread from oldest to newest too to make a thread easier to follow? Just a thought.
Thanks for now listing BurgmanRiders GB as an entity – I will try and get the link to it from http://www.burgmanriders.co.uk too but I fear that may be a little harder to do as there is already a lot of activity on the Maxi-Muppets site. BUT I am highlighting this site as much as I can.
Regards
Peter

So I was thinking of making the main page of the site the forum main page. Most people miss it at http://burgmanriders.com/forum/ and instead just use the list of recent posts as their index.
All the other non-forum posts would still be on the site and I could add a list of the 10 latest to the sidebar so they would be easy to find.
What do you think? Does that seem like a logical move to make the forum easier to find and use?
Your vote counts.
