Hello Pagey! Just wanted to say it's never too late! I'm 49 and just got my license in Nov. I ride an 05 Burgmann 400 in Texas, mostly for short errands and an occasional trip through the countryside. And just like you, I've found that I'm getting addicted to the Burgman- there'll be more of those leisurely trips through the countryside this summer!Wink

Hi Pagey

Welcome to the site and the Burgman. I'm from Armidale NSW riding an 08 Burgman 400.  I've ridden bikes since I was 17 but they've mostly been 250cc or smaller.  I'm a commuter rather than a touring rider. The burgman however is good for doing distance and I've taken it to Coffs Harbour and Tamworth.  I keep looking for an excuse to go to sydney or up your way!

Enjoy the rides and take it easy and look me up if you're travelling down the New England Highway.

Hi All,

I am a late bloomer got my licence only 3 months ago, I am 44. My first ride is a 2005 K6 AN250 Burgman.

I live on the Gold Coast Laugh in Queensland, Australia.  In 3 months I have almost done 5,000km (3,100 miles).

Though only new motorcycles/scooters, I am think I am all ready addicted to the Burgman Smile
