I tried to install a CB on my 650 Exec, and found too much electrical "noise" from the alternator (whine) and spark plugs (pop-pop-pop).  Even with the hand-held CB on battery-pac (not plugged in to the elec. outlet) and held within 5' of the bike, the noise was over-riding the squelch when the engine was reved, so this "noise" is being broadcast, and is not just in the 12VDC line, so an "in-line" supressor probably would not work, but resistor plugs probably would.  Does anybody know of a fix for this?  Thanks… DustyRoads
