If you are handy with tools. You can cut it off. A fine tooth saber saw works well. Use at a slow speed. A rotary tool works also.  I used a small drum sander in a rotary tool to get a good edge on my screen.

Tape the surface for a guide and it keeps it from getting messed up.

If you are not handy with tools forget it you can ruin the screen. Surprised

I've just got a 650-K5 (2006). The top of the screen is right in my eye line and I keep trying to see over it. Is there a shorter screen on the market? I have ridden bikes most of my life and don't mind a bit of wind in my face. I don't want a higher screen. Anyone help?Smile
