Gee, guys, I had my light come on, changed the oil, and the light stayed on. Your post fixed my problem. Presumably if I'd bought my bike new, it came with an owner's manual. The PDF parts manual I bought online doesn't cover how to reset, so I'm grateful.

Real easy to do: Put the key in the ignition (don't turn it yet). Press both the reset and function buttons together and hold them down. Now turn on the ignition while holding the buttons down. The message will blink a few times andl then go out.
Thanks for the advice.

Keep the rubber side down and the bugs out of your teeth.

I had my 600 mile service performed recently. Around 700 miles or so a "Change Oil" (or maybe "Oil Change") message has appeared on my screen. I am assuming the mechanic did not reset the computer. How do I do this? Thanks.
