“All lights working on my 650 Exec. I installed L.E.D. side marker lights above the side reflectors, and substituted L.E.D. mini-lights for my license plate holder, and last but least, I added another brake light just above the rear fender reflector.”

  1. Where can i get those lights?

  2. Howdy, great job on the additional lighting. Did you have to beef
up your electrical system to handle the additional load and I to
would like to know where to get lights? Also how much was the
    larger windshield? Thank you, Wayne

  3. Hi Wayne,

Sorry it took so long to reply. Just got back from a road trip..

OK, first question, NO! the electrical system can handle up to 500 watts of power and I haven’t even come close to that. As far as the lights go, I purchased the side lights and break light from my local International Heavy Truck Dealership.

It took me a couple of hours to install since I had to remove the rear panal above the license plate, the hump cover, and the dash cover. I did take pics if you are interested.

I spliced the lower light into my break light connector, and then ran a separate wire from my battery to the toggle switch, and from the toggle switch back to the light. I only use the side lights at night.

  4. Sorry Wayne, forgot about the windshield question..

It is a Clearview XL windshield, with tint and vent. I believe I paid $281.00 with the shipping. One nice feature about the Clearview is that you can use Rainex on it to keep the rain off. Using Rainex on other windshields causes streaking…

  5. Howdy, thanks for getting back to me. Your answer on the elec-
trical system confirms what I hoped. I started my upgrade with
bullit lights on the tail box and an led license plate frame. My
Burgman is black so I figure the more lums the better. Next I’d
like some amber lighting up front. Thanks again. Wayne

PS. I installed my own conversion of a sissy bar to the top box
for added support for my wifes back as well as a home for aback
    pack.
