Will the Breakaway ring(s) slip over the fat grip I installed on my 2009 Bergman 650?

The BrakeAway is the nest accessory I've ever added to my Burgman. It was an absolute necessity for my wife, an inexperienced rider with carpal Tunnel syndrome. I see it as the only really safe throttle lock in an emergency condition.

Very peculiar audio. What's the odd "pounding" sound in the background?

Also, I call that high rpm runup business under no load "Burgman abuse". Someone should notify the authorities.
